I looked at the calendar and realized it is March and almost time to face Frank at 111. The birth of our daughter seemed to put a time warp on life. My wife who endured countless hours of labor is a complete rock pushing me to go train and do my job (s).
I feel like I am so blessed to be where I am right now and I am working hard to make sure this is not the highlight of my career but rather the beginning of many highlights. I have worked my butt off for a year now, training for different fights to only see them cancel out right in front of me with no notice and no release from this training.
This is our time #TeamCarwin, with you guys behind me, my family and coaches I know I have everything I need to win this month. I want to thank you for the support and believing in me. I wont let you down.

BTW Congrats on your baby girl I'm of father to four great sons and
having kids is such a blessing from God.

After the worldz longest training camp.....EVER... i hope your ready.. :) we're behind ya Shane.. Kudoz to you and Lani on your baby girl... We are due w/ our baby girl April 26th... will be attending UFC in Broomfield at a whopping 8 monthz.....hope to see you guyz there!!

I've been waiting all year too Shane, I can't imagine being pumped and let down all year after the hard work. They gave you a full year to train and train and train. You got Mir, no prob man. We all not only believe, we KNOW what you'll do.

2010 is your year Shane, the HW title is already yours, you will just get to punch Lesnar out of his senses and teach him some manner before bringing the title home.
