Day of Weigh-ins in jersey

Hey shane, My girlfriend and I are driving 8 hours from ohio to come see this amazing fight card, her favorite fighter is GSP and mine is of course you haha. Checking In

Training is going great, tough but great. We began our peeking drills this week and I am beginning to feel like this is going to happen. I hope you all have plans to watch us TeamCarwin get into action again on the 27th. Frank is a tough opponent, my toughest to date and I have done all I can do to be ready for this battle.

Meeting Shane Carwin

So my wife and went to the grand opening of the new Easton BJJ grand opening in Centennial, CO. There was free food, balloonz, MMA fanz, and some very friendly instructorz who were giving away free T-shirtz. be carefull of Mirs 4 punch combo

Good luck Shane- I know you have trained for Franks four punch combo-but he has taken out Nog, and Kongo with it-Kongo only got the first punch before he dropped-straight left, hook right,over left and then a straight right- I know you will drop him with a upper right as soon as he throws his first left! good luck -and I know your hand will be raised!! Today my wife was surprised to get a delivery from everyone at the UFC filled with great gifts for Alexis and Lani. My wife who is holding the fort down was taken back by this generosity. When you meet Lesnar

Shane,

Although I'm a Frank Mir fan (even if he does stick his foot in his mouth periodically), take him out when you take him on this month---THEN---Do MMA a huge favor when you meet Lesnar (if he does not whimp out on you first) and turn his lights out and send him packing back to the barnyard he came from. He has no respect for anyone, including himself, whenever he runs his mouth.

WOW

I looked at the calendar and realized it is March and almost time to face Frank at 111. The birth of our daughter seemed to put a time warp on life. My wife who endured countless hours of labor is a complete rock pushing me to go train and do my job (s).

Carwin vs Mir Breakdown

I see our boy keeping it on the feet and lookin for the left jab, straight right. Mir gonna look to take it to the ground, but front like he wants to box with Shane. After unsuccessful take-down attempts and looking to pull guard Mir will be forced to stand and get caught with the bread and butter left jab, straight right. Our boy will follow up with GnP and onto Lesnar.

Carwin vs Mir

Frank mir : 13-4-0 , Wins - 2 tko , 8 subs , 2 decisions , 1 other / Losses : 4 tko

Coming off of his beat down to brock at ufc 100 mir had to win and prove himself again in a bad way IMO. In his fight with congo he did just that. Pulling out a Guillotine Choke 1:12 in the first round mir looked as good as he ever has , and much bigger ! But the fight was over so fast it was hard to tell how mir was dealing with his much bigger frame. Is he as quick and flexable as he was when he faugh

To Be Clear

It is amazing that the MMA media has to twist what people say instead of just requesting your own interview or writing what was actually said. This is the reason I prefer to give my interviews in writing. I get you have a job to do but don't ask me for interviews and then twist what I said to get visitors to your website. Any MMA media that cut and pasted, read the article, just because one site has a sensational yet wrong title doesn't mean you have to follow. Very misleading journalism.

Now I hear all the hype about a rush to find Shane a nick name. I submit this as food for thought. Mir, poor choice of words

Well, I was going through the news and came across a recent interview (perhaps this is old) where Frank was was speaking about a rematch with Lesnar, apparently, Mir had said a few poor choice words, well I think Frank may had step on his crank but I don't think he meant it.
