Great opportunity
Congrats to Shane for earning the title shot against Lesnar. Although beating another quality opponent in Velasquez may have been beneficial, you usually only get one chance to realize your dreams. What an incredible opportunity! I've never been so excited for a fight in 6 years I've followed the UFC. The disrespect Lesnar showed towards his colleagues, boss and the fans at UFC 100 was unforgiveable, and there's no way he throws Shane around the octagon like the others he's fought. What's next
You're right on with ufc 103 in texas with Shane vs Cain main event. Although Cain isn't ready for Shane's power, he's also undefeated and knocked off the other top contender in the heavyweight division. I believe it was suppose to shape up for Shane to battle Kongo, and I would have loved to watch that fight, but Cain earned the right to challenge Shane. Next fight
After Cain Velasquez destroyed Kongo, its obvious Shane vs Cain must be coming next. The winner battles Lesnar/Mir winner for the title in Q1 2010. It only makes sense, but Crocop coming back scares me. Although he's a legend of the past, his name is huge and respected. People doubted Shane because he didn't have any big-name wins, but the KO on Gonzaga moved him into top position. Crocop has accomplished exactly nothing in UFC.
